This past November, the San Jose Museum of Art opened Glenn Kaino‘s spectacular exhibition WITH DRAWN ARMS: GLENN KAINO AND TOMMIE SMITH to a rave reviews, which included a major write up and interview with Kaino by Dan Adler in Vanity Fair magazine.
Since the opening, the exhibition has continued to draw big crowds and generate excitement around the Bay Area. On the first First Friday of 2020, Facebook sponsored a special celebration of the exhibit that featured music byGuera/April Garcia and DJ Chale Brown. The exhibition also garnered this great write-up in LA WEEKLY.
WITH DRAWN ARMS will be on view at the SJMA through April 5th 2020. On Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at 7pm, both Glenn Kaino and Tommie Smith will be on hand for an extraordinary live conversation at the Hammer Theater Center in downtown San Jose.
