We want to take a moment to express our gratitude for all of the encouraging press that has been coming out ever since Firelei Báez: Joy Out of Fire opened this May at The Studio Museum in Harlem's temporary exhibition space at The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Firelei has touched so many people's hearts and minds with this important work. It is as smart and inspirational as it is monumental and beautiful.
We are pleased to share a few images of the installation, courtesy of the Studio Museum in Harlem. But there is really no way to convey the full effect of this incredible show digitally-it must be experienced in person. If you have not yet had a chance to see the show, there is still plenty of time. It will be on view through November 24th, 2018.
