We just returned from Los Angeles, where we enjoyed a fruitful studio visit with the wonderful Young-Il Ahn. The works we saw there completely blew us away. Ahn is truly one of our favorite painters. His range, depth, and mastery inspire us to no end.

We also had a chance to stop in at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (LACMA) to view Ahn's current solo exhibition there: Unexpected light. The show was spectacular! In just a few weeks, on July 14th, we will open a solo exhibition of this incredible artist at our Elizabeth Street gallery in Chicago. In anticipation of that exciting event, here are some shots of the show at LACMA, and the cover of the wonderful catalogue the museum published in honor of the exhibition. Looking forward to seeing you at the opening!
