In this series of exclusive on-camera interviews, members of the legendary AfriCOBRA collective reflect on their exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami and their continued international presence, including the Venice Biennale. Founded in Chicago in 1968, AfriCOBRA (African Commune of Bad Relevant Artists) helped define the visual language of the Black Arts Movement. Through bold color, text, and community-centered aesthetics, the collective reshaped the role of art in Black liberation and global contemporary art discourse.
