Chicago-based gallery Kavi Gupta represents artists with marginalized backgrounds and/or unique perspectives to achieve the “urgent need to foreground imaginative voices” in contemporary discourse. After many years exhibiting at Frieze New York, their booth at their inaugural London fair is brimming with exciting and visually arresting works. According to their press release, you can expect: “historical and recent works in conversation by Richard Hunt and AFRICOBRA founder Gerald Williams…new-media work by Glenn Kaino involving machine learning…and works by Irena Haiduk which serve as an extension of her ongoing Yugoexport project, which was featured at Documenta 14 in 2017”.
