Jaime Muñoz in Hot Concrete: LA to HK: K11 Musea, Hong Kong, China
A hot new arrival to the Hong Kong art scene, K11 MUSEA joins hands with WOAW Gallery to bring sunny Los Angeles to Hong Kong in Hot Concrete: LA to HK.
Curated by LA gallery Sow & Tailor and co-organised by Ouyang Art Consulting, Hot Concrete is an ambitious group show of cultural exchange. Bridging the high octane energy of Los Angeles with Hong Kong’s appetite for newness and exploration — two vibrant cities bursting with stories beneath the concrete — 55 artworks by 30 multi-generational artists investigate identity, family history, and memories.
Featuring LA-based artists who offer multicultural perspectives, four main principles of ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement) organise the showcase: freshness, movement, balance, and harmony.
