Sara Rahanjam’s Hanging Gardens Series continues to unfold as a developing body of work shaped by experiences of borders, displacement, and rupture. What began as a personal inquiry has expanded into a broader meditation on memory, migration, and transformation through her residency in Kassel at Hugenottenhaus.

In this performance, the flowers are carriers of lived experience holding pain, hope, and resilience at once. Each is rooted in a different geography, yet they converge in a shared space of vulnerability and becoming.
