Willie Cole x Comme des Garçon

Kavi Gupta congratulates Willie Cole on his recent collaboration with fashion brand Comme des Garçons. The brand's Fall 2021 Homme Plus Menswear collection, presented this week in Tokyo, featured not only Cole's signature shoe sculptures reimagined as hats, but also images of the artist's sculptures screen-printed on garments. Founder of Comme des Garçons Rei Kawakubo came across Cole's work in an exhibition and reached out to the artist to collaborate on the collection.
