The work of other artists, contemporary international ones will also be a part of the exhibition. These artists include Guillermo Kuitca, Obi Okigbo, Mickalene Thomas and Chéri Samba. Cécile Debray and Joanne Snrech, in collaboration with François Dareau will curate the exhibition. When the exhibition opens it will cover three floors of the Hôtel Salé.

It was announced that fashion designer Paul Smith will direct an exhibition about Pablo Picasso. The Musée National Picasso-Paris invited the renowned British designer to lead the art direction because of his talent with tailoring, color, and detail to create an exhibition to showcase: Picasso Celebration: The Collection In A New Light.
The exhibition will go from March 7- August 27, 2023. Pablo Picasso died on April 8, 1973 at his home in Notre-Dame-de-Vie in Mougins. Smith’s storytelling ability to direct the direction of the exhibition, which will include Picasso’s masterpieces comes from his enthusiasm to combine pattern and color. “The designer’s unique approach to the works invites the public to view them through a contemporary lens and underlines the continuing relevance of Picasso’s work in today’s world,” shares the museum in notes.
Smith is a strong pick to direct. He, like the renowned visual artist shares an eye for shapes, objects, dress, and playfulness. Both Smith and Picasso are gifted in presenting their work in innovative ways. Smith’s creative spirit that brings together tradition and modernity is sure to be present in the exhibition. While contemporary in his style, Smith is gifted at bringing a fun and curious approach to his design. Picasso was the same way so the exhibition is bound to include these elements.
