For their 10th anniversary, Southampton Arts Center (SAC) presented CHANGE AGENTS: Women Collectors Shaping the Art World, an exhibition that showcased the unparalleled vision of 14 women collectors dedicated to championing artists and their practices. The first of its kind at SAC, the exhibition celebrated these international pioneers, whose missions are matched by their generosity to advocate for the most critically acclaimed and emerging artists of our time. Each collector, a tour de force within her own right, has created enduring impact on our cultural landscape in different ways, from donating works to some of the world's most established institutions, to advancing the careers of emerging artists in the earliest days of their profession, as well as initiating foundations and exhibition spaces that amplify the importance of art in our society.
