Tomokazu Matsuyama, Thousand Regards: Katzen Arts Center at American University | Washington, DC
The Katzen Arts Center celebrated the debut of Tomokazu Matsuyama's first solo museum exhibit, entitled Thousand Regards. This exhibit is in conjunction with the Japanese embassy, to coincide with the 100 year anniversary of the gift of cherry blossom trees from Japan to the US. Serving as a mini-retrospective, the artist's contemporary works will be exhibited alongside Floating World: Japanese Woodblock Prints from the Sakai Collection of the UKIYOE Museum of Matsumoto city, Nagano Prefecture.
