The Early Period of the Metagalactic Renaissance
A rich age of exploration for humanity would also see new cultural developments on Earth. Nostalgia for our terrestrial history inspired the Gather-n-Hunt, a family restaurant pantomiming the subsistence strategies of our Mesolithic ancestors. Presenting an illusory space with numerous biomes for exploration, the restaurant would have provided entertainment through the challenge of hunting and gathering your own food. The theatricality of the procession would have omitted that grisly detail and challenging reality of our distant ancestors day-to-day struggles, while providing a cathartic release and sense of connection to our species’ history.
