On Friday, April 8, 2022 Kavi Gutpa Gallery celebrated the openings of two major solo exhibitions, Devan Shimoyama: A Counterfeit Gift Wrapped in Fire and Alisa Sikelianos-Carter: Stars Are Born in Darkness at Kavi Gupta | Elizabeth St. 

 

The reception included performances by drag queen sensations Kenzie Coulee and O'laysia, with tarot readings and energy healing by diviner Jubulile Mickle-Molefe.
