After choreographing 22 works for New York City Ballet since 2012, Resident Choreographer Justin Peck creates his first full-evening work for the Company, set to the music of Aaron Copland. Providing designs for this exploration of America today is the painter and sculptor Jeffrey Gibson, who has often drawn on his Choctaw-Cherokee heritage for inspiration.
