Tasset’s Arrow Sculpture literally points to our social media-obsessed society’s incessant need to rate human experiences as good or bad. Am I trending or declining; is my life sharable or snore-worthy? Tasset’s Pop Conceptual logo of perceptual duality suggests everything simultaneously goes both ways. Our assessments of ups and downs (of the stock market, the art market, or life itself) are arbitrary, or at best premature, and what we like and dislike are often one and the same.
