Part of Binion's "Stuttering:Standing:Still" series, this landmark piece marked a major shift in Binion's development as he began to lay his autobiographical material bare. Comprised of black and blue to refer to "Blackness" as an identity concept and "The Blues" as quiet, depressed contemplation, this heavily worked piece includes pages from the artist's 1970's address book from when he was living in New York, as well as his Birth Certificate from 1940's Mississippi.
