An area of Iran most connected to South Asia, this region also has a significant population that still practices the ancient Zoroastrian faith. They are the originators of duality concepts such as (Good & Evil) , or (Light & Darkness) as well inventing the blue and lavender dye for creating great designs for the Silk Road.
In these laminated plates , Babak updates the mosaic building techniques to create plates meant to be used for having broths that at the end of the meal reveal artworks. Some symbolize the global events of the recent past. Some just events in Babak's life.
