This project examines the lived experience of pain and suffering, tracing wounds that are inflicted not only on the body, but on the soul and spirit. These injuries do not disappear; they linger, shaping memory, perception, and form. Over time, the wounds are transformed—emerging as embroidered surfaces or fragile paper flowers that appear to grow outward from the self. What once caused harm becomes a site of quiet proliferation. Though the pain recedes, its imprint remains, settling into the psyche as a delicate yet indelible pattern that both marks and shelters us.
