Reeder's Landlord Paintings masquerade as conventional conceptualism. These abstract paintings, expose and reveal pre-existing paint coats that have been hastily applied with a roller, referencing the un-polished and ritualistic nature of landlords repainting apartment walls.

For his process-paintings, Reeder uses unconventional materials as stencils which he creates abstract or text-based compositions on top. "Untitled (blue on blue)" forms part of an ongoing series of pasta paintings.

Club Nutz

Collaborative curatorial performances, often alongside his brother Tyson Reeder and wife Elysia Borowy-Reeder, have played an active part in Reeder's practice.

Billed as the world’s smallest open-mike comedy club, Club Nutz, debuted at the Frieze Art Fair in 2009 and has been presented at art fairs, museums and galleries both nationally and internationally.
